Grace and her just-born son. She is a wonderful Mom just like Star. The pups are all gaining daily and doing well. Unfortunately, Sharon (Grace's human Mom) did not fare so well. Two days before the whelping she "fell from Grace", tripping over Grace early Sunday morning in the kitchen. She suffered a nasty fracture to her upper arm and shoulder, rendering her one-armed for the next eight weeks, :~((.
Thanks to the help of dear friends Jacqueline, Mary Jo, Kay & Dion, along with Dr. Milan Hess (repro vet specialist), the litter arrived naturally and safely with weights ranging from 19 to 24 ounces.
